Head on over to the Central Library on Saturday, February 20 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for the Local Authors Expo and Book Fair where you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of your favorite local authors and find some new ones to love.
The event, hosted by Friends of the Birmingham Public Library, will include sessions on So You Want to Write a Children’s Book, a panel discussion with Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators members, including Kerry Madden and Jo. S. Kittinger. It will be moderated by bestselling author Irene Latham. There will also be an Art of Marketing Your Book session by Greta King of PDMI Publishing.
