It’s never too early to start planning for next year. If you’re looking for a new planner for 2018, check out the STARTplanner.
If you’ll remember, last year I was singing the praises of the Day Designer, and although I’m still a fan, I realized a few months ago that the bound planner wasn’t working for me because there wasn’t a place for me to take notes. It was becoming overstuffed because of all the extra sheets and post-it notes I was putting in it. I switched from the bound to the A5 refillable planner Day Designer, which allows you to add your own pages. Still, I felt like something was missing, so I started hunting for a new planner and stumbled across the STARTplanner.
According to the website, Startplanners help you to define your goals in all areas of your life and guide you with actionable steps that carry over to monthly and daily planning to keep you on track and focused. The planners allow you to not just focus on one area of your life. They help you focus on family/home, work/school, adventure/fun, finances, business, relationship/spiritual, health/fitness (and more!). The creators believe they all have to work in tandem to succeed.
The company offers both bound and A5 planners with inserts. If you’re like me and already have a planner case and just need the pages, the company also offers the option of purchasing unpunched refills so you can punch them yourself to fit a binder or discbound system you already own. (If you own a Filofax or A5 Day Designer, the punched pages for STARTplanner fit the rings.) The planners offer goal setting sheets, vision boards, budget/savings and projects pages, as well as pages for entertainment, vacation planning and cleaning and home maintenance. You have the option of getting a weekly or daily format. My daily format gives each day, including weekends, its own page. It also includes monthly overviews with a Sunday start day, which is something that is so necessary for me to get a bird’s eyeview of what I have going on for the month. The company also offers add-in packs for direct sales, photographers, realtors and teachers.
