Arguably the most anticipated event this weekend is the 80th annual Iron Bowl. The University of Alabama will play on rival Auburn University’s home turf, Jordan Hare Stadium. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. CST on Saturday, November 28.

The Thanksgiving Blues and Soul Superfest featuring Calvin Richardson, Sir Charles Jones, Nelly “Tiger” Travis and Big Pokey will be head Friday, November 27 at 7 p.m. at the Birmingham Crossplex Bill Harris Arena. Tickets start at $30.
Good for the Soul
Set your DVR to catch the Soul Train Music Awards on Sunday, November 29 at 7 p.m. CST. Hosted by singer Erykah Badu, this year’s awards will honor singers Jill Scott and Babyface.
The Legacy Lives On
Fans for the Rocky franchise may want to head to the theatre this weekend for the latest installment, Creed. Adonis Johnson (played by Michael B. Jordan) has boxing in his blood, and he asks legend Rocky Balboa (played by Sylvester Stallone) to be his trainer.
