Smokey Robinson
Renowned R&B singer Smokey Robinson will give a special intimate concert on November 21 at 7 p.m. The concert will be held at the historic Alabama Theatre for the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute’s 2015 Rev. Fred E. Shuttlesworth Human Rights Award honoring Attorney Vernon E. Jordan, the recipient of this year’s award. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
Marlon Wayans
Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans graces the Stardome Comedy Club stage November 20–22. No stranger to the comedy circuit, Wayans’ act is for ages 17 and up. Tickets can be purchased online.
Birmingham City Schools Basketball Tournament
Come out and root for your favorite schools November 19–21 during the return of the Birmingham City Schools basketball tournament. Saint’s Night

Winter Wonderland at the McWane Center
Bring your family to the most magical place around this holiday season. Children can coast down the Ice Slide and take a whirl across the room on the extended zip line. Climb aboard the McWane Train and go for a ride or try your luck at ice fishing. Holiday happenings will be held from November 21 through January 10, including the return of the Magic of Model Trains, holiday films in IMAX, visits from Santa, and even holiday themed camps. Girls’ Night Out

Basketball League Registration
Registration for the winter season of the Magic City Youth Basketball League is now underway. Boys and girls between the ages of five and 18 can sign up for the season, which runs from January 9 through February 28. Games are played on Fridays and Saturdays.
