When Pamela Sparks first started her career as a chemotherapy-certified RN, she never dreamed it would evolve into being a Pink Cadillac sales director with Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Sparks, who is married with three children, believes the secret to her success is simple. “Take God as your number one business partner. Be dedicated to your business like you’ve been to your job. If rain, cramps and bad hair days don’t stop you from going into your day job, don’t let it stop you in your new business either. When you adopt the ‘will show up regardless’ approach, your spark will eventually turn into a massive flame.”

Like most mommas, Sparks struggles with balancing all the many hats, she wears, but she has learned to make it work. “Make a list of six things to accomplish each day—nonnegotiable. I usually have a business list and a family list.”

She is a firm believer that dreams can come true and encourages mommas in the Magic City—and beyond—who would like to start a business to believe in themselves and their dreams.

“Believe in the power of your God-given dreams. Dream abundantly! Use your kids as a reason to make your business thrive. They are watching,” she said.
